Burlington Hican is a pecan Shagbark Hickory cross- Carya illinoensis x ovata. Burlington is a rapid grower and the tree is very ornamental. The nuts are large, long, well filled and crack well. It produces well in the Ohio valley.
Burlington originated in Burlington Iowa. It was named by J. F. Jones in 1915
