I will tell you straight: persimmons are the most underrated fruit tree in America.

Most folks have never had a good one. They tried a wild persimmon off the ground in October, bit into it before it was ready, and swore off the whole species right there. An unripe persimmon will turn your mouth inside out. But a ripe one tastes like honey and brown sugar and apricot all at once, and the tree that grows it will outlive you.

We grow more than forty varieties, American natives and Ukrainian hybrids you will not find at another nursery in this country. Every tree is grafted, root-pruned, and shipped free east of the Rockies.
