Description
Thayer Pecan is a cross by William Reid in Kansas. Thayer is Pawnee X Green River. Both are excellent pecans and this cross seems to improve both of them.
Thayer runs 55 nuts to the pound and 55% kernel. It is a Type 1 pollinator. Shuck split is the last week of September.
