SCIONON Grafting Shears are a game changer in grafting efficiency and success. These are professional tools, but they are a great help to the gardener and grafter as well. Their other secret is their rootsocks and graftwood have been preselected by size, so there is no need to adjust for any size variables.

The secret to these shears is a perfectly flat cut. To get such a cut with a knife requires an extremely sharp knife and perfect muscle control by the grafter. Now, I have been grafting for years and when I was younger and in great physical shape, I could get some of my cuts perfectly flat. But now, with a few years on me, it is getting more difficult to get that perfect fit. That fit is important when you need to have a high percentage of takes.  An hour or so and a few scrap sticks and you can make graft cuts that are the envy of any grafter anywhere. These tools really shine when it comes to grafting hard woods like pear, pecan, citrus and kiwi. If they can cut those woods, softer woods will be a breeze.
