The Hirschi Pecan is another once popular pecan that over time has lost its scab resistance. The tree originated in Rich Hill Missouri. There are still good genetics here and for orchardists who have a spray program it is still a good tree.
Pollination type 1 and 72 nuts per pound. Nuts have good kernel color and ripen a week before Pawnee
