Grafting Rubber Strips

Description
Known in the trade as Grafting Rubbers, these rubber strips are used to hold the scionwood or bud to the rootstock until the knitting or healing process is complete. They are not sunfast but usually need to be cut off before the growing stock is girdled by the band.
The 4″ bands are normally used for summer budding of Apples and Stone Fruits
The 5″ bands are the standard for Whip and Tongue Grafts
The 8″ bands are hard to find and are for large diameter grafts like Bark Grafts and Top Working large stock
Grafting Bands are normally sold in pound and multi pound quantities. We are offering small quantities of bands for home grafters who do not need a pound of grafting rubbers.
