Giftpack Pecan was selected by Bill Goff at Auburn University. It is likely a Schley seedling. It is a decent cropper of nice sized nuts at 62 nuts per pound that have 59% kernel. These nuts shell very nicely and the kernel quality is excellent. Giftpack will need scab control. Nuts ripen around October 7 in Georgia. This nut has good retail appeal for growers who have a spray program to control scab
