Fisher Pecan

Fisher Pecan was introduced in 1938. It was discovered as a native seedling sometime before that by Jacob Fisher of New Memphis Illinois.

It produces nuts that are 74/lb and around 48% kernel. They shell easily and kernel color is light. Shuck split in late September.

This is reported to be a heavy producer as a northern pecan
