Description
Excell Pecan Was found as a seedling in South Georgia. It makes a very large nut with a thick shell averaging 45 nuts per pounnd and 50% kernel. Scab resistance is reported to be excellent.
The tree has a very late bud break and the leaf cover is thin. the heavy nut crop makes the trees “weepy”. This is a good variety for low input orchards
