Earlton Pecan is from William Reid’s breeding program in Kansas. Earlton is a cross between Pawnee which has excellent nut quality and poor scab resistance and Green River which is a very good older variety from Kentucky with good scab resistance.

The Earlton Pecan is a type 2 pollinator. The nuts average 69 nuts per pound with 56% kernel. Earlton is a very early ripening pecan with a shuck split in Mid September
