Description
Candy Pecan was named in Ocean Springs Mississippi in 1913. Candy produces nice sized nuts that easily crack into beautiful bright golden halves. Tne nuts are considered too small for the wholesale market at 78 nuts per pound but for the direct marketer, they are too attractive to not grow. Trees are precocious and bear heavily at a young age. Disease resistance is very good. Flavor is very good because the nuts have a high oil content. Shuck split is the first week of October.
